Add Event App
Type event title and quickly move further to select start and end time of the event.
Set the start and the end of your event without unnecessary clicks by quick short-cut buttons. Or use a standard time/date wheel control as you know it from the standard Calendar app.
After setting the time, you have all you need to create the event in the calendar. But wait, you can setup additional things like alarms, repetition, calendar and notes.
Also don't forget to set-up defaults in the system Settings application.
